  1. Use the power button on the front of the tv or the remote to turn on the tv.
  2. Use the USB-C/USB-A connections at the podium to have full functionality. The HDMI cable connection will not give touch access.
  3. Instructors and guests using BRCC laptops can connect wirelessly using Smartmirror.link. Audio is disabled through SMARTmirror.
  4. Select Input on the tv to select the laptop input. Select SB speakers on laptop sound menu to switch to SMART tv speakers.
  5. If you ever get lost, use the home button on the remote or front tv panel to return to the home screen.
  6. Use computer-based applications whenever possible to allow for saving, sharing, and full functionality. Some SMART tv based applications are currently limited.
  7. When using your computer’s Whiteboard applications, always select the pen before starting to write. IT recommends Microsoft Whiteboard. 9. For hyflex classes, connect at the podium to ensure audio and video functionality.

  11. Use the Clean up function on the SMART tv home screen to clean up your files at the end of class and reset defaults for the next user.
  12. Clean the SMART tv with a soft cloth and water only. Please do not use any chemicals. Cleaning chemicals will damage the touchscreen.
