Right Front Control Panel
Location:
- Home: Starting point for applications. You can use this button to leave an application.
- Source: Will take you to a screen to select a hard wired input source, i.e. HDMI, USB-C, etc.
- Screen Cover: Will cover whatever is on your screen. The screen turns solid gray. To uncover, press the button again.
- Pause: Will pause/freeze whatever is on the screen. To restart, press again.
- Volume Down: Will decrease system volume.
- Volume Up: Will increase system volume.
- Power: Will power up the TV. System begins on the Home screen.
Center Front: Pen Tray
Location:
Pen Tray: These two pens are interchangeable. They can be used with the whiteboard application, to annotate on the screen, or to navigate. The pens are magnetic and will attach to the pen tray. Please remember to replace them after use.
Speakers: There are two speakers on the front of the SMART tv that provide sound for the systems.

Left Front Inputs
Location:
- USB-C input: can be used to connect a Mac, phones, and some PCs.
- HDMI connection
- USB-B: can plug into a computer using an A-B cable.
- USB port
- USB port
To use these ports, you will need to provide your own connection cable. IT recommends using the podium connection.
Side and Rear Inputs
Location:
Side inputs will be populated by IT and will not be accessed by instructors. HDMI ports will be connected to the classroom desktop and a port for the instructor’s laptop. |
Rear inputs include the ethernet port for the college network as well as an audio out port for external speakers. Instructors will not typically access these inputs. |
