Lynx is an emergency alert program that allows users to quietly contact our on-campus police department.
In the event of an emergency in the classroom or office, employees have the ability to summon help.
The first step is always call 911, if at all possible.
To use lynx on mac you can double click this icon on your desktop:
Or this icon in the system tray:
It will bring up this window:
Double click the panic button and it will alert the police department and let you type a message.
The message will be sent to our on-campus Police Department.
Once a month it will bring up the test window:
Click test now and it will have you double click the smiley face icon:
Then it will have you put in your office location and phone extension.
This is where our police officers will show up and/or call if you click the panic button.
Once you have entered your information click next and then click finish.
