Con Ed course shell requests have migrated to the MyCourses Request app, which you can access through the Forms Portal on SharePoint.

FAQs:

  • Which courses do I place a shell request for? You need to place a shell request for every Con Ed course section needing a shell in MyCourses. If you have a combined course, you must request a shell for both the parent and each child.
  • What is a “parent” course? A parent course is the main course containing the course content and all students from combined sections.
  • What is a “child” course? A child course is a section that is being combined into another. These are built with empty shells and are hidden in MyCourses. 
  • What do I do if a course is missing from the list? The lists automatically refresh periodically throughout the day, based on what's in Colleague. If it's been more than 4 hours and you still don't see the course, contact your Dean/Chair.
