On your Windows computer, open Windows Explorer by pressing the Windows key + E or by double-clicking the folder icon on the taskbar.


On the left-hand side expand the view of your drives by clicking the down ↓



Where you see your name, click the → to expand your folders.


You can now perform various operations on your G drive, such as creating new folders, uploading files, and transferring files.

  • To create a new folder, right-click in the G drive window, select "New," and choose "Folder." Give the folder a name and press Enter.
  • To transfer files to or from the G drive, you can easily move them by dragging and dropping, or you have the option to copy and paste them.


Advantages to using your G drive

  • They reside in the cloud so should your computer crash any files you store there are safe
