Each month, employees will receive a popup notification that a "test of the LynxClient software is required." If you are in the middle of something, there is the option to postpone the test ("Remind me again in 3 hours"), otherwise click "Test now."
Once the Testing Wizard window appears, the panic function will be in test mode for the duration of the timer in the bottom left of the window. During this time, press the F9 and F11 keys ONCE at the same time and immediately release them. Note: if you press F9 and F11 more than once, the actual panic alert will be activated.
If the test is successful, you will see a green arrow and a green popup will appear near your task bar. Click the "Next" button.
You will be prompted to verify your location. If the location listed is correct, click "Yes, this location is correct" and then "Finish" on the next screen. If the location listed is incorrect, click "No, this location is incorrect" and you will be taken to a change location screen.
To correct your office location in the system, enter the correct building and room number, then enter your office phone number and click "Next."
Click "Finish" to end the test.
