Step 1: Login to Aviso and Select Student Tab

Step 2: Select the Plus symbol next to Filters to create a new filter.

Step 3: Enter text into the Filter Name field, e.g. "Registered Fall 2021 not Spring 2022".

Step 4: Select Everyone.

Step 5: Scroll down the side of the filter menu until you see the field, "Registration Terms Include".

Step 6: Begin typing in the "Registration Terms Include" box, then select the current semester. This example uses "Fall Semester 2021".

            Note: More than one semester may be selected.

Step 7: Begin typing in the "Registration Terms Exclude" box, then select a future semester. This example uses "Spring Semester 2022".

            Note: More than one semester may be selected.

Step 8: Scroll down the side of the filter menu until you see "Academic Advisor". Select your name.

Step 9: Select Save.

With the filter applied, you can see the number of students not registered for your selected future semester. The Message function can create emails to all the students in the list of students that have not registered.
