When students login to Aviso either using the Mobile App or the Website, they are immediately presented with a button that lets them request a meeting. That button walks them through a few questions (location, reason for appointment, desired length of appointment, and whether face-to-face or virtual).


As an employee, you can also schedule a meeting between yourself and a student or between a student and another employee.


How to Schedule a Meeting with a student in Aviso
  1. In the Aviso website, click the "Students" tab
  2. Search for the student and select them
  3. Click the meetings tab
  4. Click the New Meeting button and select either yourself or "Student and Other Staff" (See screenshot below)
  5. Either type in the name or select the specific person or use the "What would the student like to discuss" wizard to guide
  6. Then continue to use the guided menu to select location, reason for appt, and length of appointment
  7. At this point, it will show the next available time(s) for that person to meet and you can schedule the meeting for the student right then.

  • Once the appointment is created, you no longer need to be involved - the student and employee are each empowered to adjust if needed.
  • Once scheduled, the student and employee will automatically have an appointment added onto their respective calendars.
  • Either the student or the employee can cancel or adjust the appointment.
