Free access for current employees:
(Recommended method)
- Go to the Get Office 365 for Education site: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/education/products/office
- When prompted, enter your @blueridge.edu email address
- Select "I'm teacher" (staff and faculty use the same license)
- When prompted to login, use the same BRCC password you use to access other resources
- After you login, you should see a screen similar to the one below. Click on the "Install Office" link
**Note: This will involve downloading and installing the software. The installation process will likely take about 20 minutes to complete.
Microsoft Home Use Program:
(This allows you to purchase a discounted personal license of Office.)
The Home Use Program (HUP) is an employee purchase program for employees of Microsoft’s valued customers. It offers Microsoft 365 Family and Personal - Premium Office apps, extra cloud storage, advanced security and more, all in one convenient subscription - at a discounted rate through your company. All employees with a valid work email address will be able to access the Microsoft 365 HUP benefit.
